Aloysius Nwabugo MaduforoProject Manager

Dr. Aloysius Nwabugo Maduforo is a distinguished Nigerian Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist (RDN) with extensive experience across hospital, community, and academic settings. He earned his first PhD in Human Nutrition and served as a lecturer in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he supervised over 25 undergraduate research projects.
Currently, Dr. Maduforo is pursuing a second PhD in Leadership, Policy, and Governance at the Werklund School of Education, University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. His research interests include leadership in health and education sectors, diet- related non-communicable diseases, community nutrition, maternal and child nutrition, food consumption studies, and food composition.
Throughout his career, Dr. Maduforo has held various leadership positions and contributed to numerous scholarly publications. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Dietitians Association of Nigeria. His recent work includes a study on building capacities for effective instructional leadership in higher education. Dr. Maduforo’s dedication to advancing knowledge in nutrition and leadership continues to impact both academic and professional communities.
