Joshua Yusuf (he/him) is a PhD in Health student at Dalhousie University located in Kjipuktuk, Mi’kma’ki (Halifax, Nova Scotia). His research focuses on improving the health outcomes of people of African descent through exploring what the ethical conduct of research means to Black Canadians as a heterogeneous population.

Joshua has worked in the youth realm as a research and evaluation assistant on the UpLift Partnership and co-developed National Day of the Child events in 2023 and 2024. He is excited to bring this lens to the Transforming the Lives of Black Children and Youths in Canada.
